Reminder: Derby Market Hall is open as normal during Derby Heritage B**r Festival! 🍻

If you're in Derby or heading along to the Derby Heritage B**r Festival this week, don't forget that all of our traders are open to the public as normal throughout the event.

Whether you're popping in for food and drink, browsing our independent retailers, or meeting friends in the city centre, Derby Market Hall is open and welcoming everyone for the rest of the week. Tickets for the festival are only required for service at the festival bar.

Come and enjoy the festival atmosphere while continuing to support your favourite market traders. 🛍️✨

🔥 Arepita LTD serve up fresh, authentic gluten-free Venezuelan street and Latin-inspired flavours right here in Derby.

What's on the menu?
🥙Arepas – Grilled maize hot pockets stuffed with your choice of delicious fillings like pulled beef, chicken salad, avocado, plantain, black beans, and artisanal cheese.
🧀 Empanadas – Crispy deep-fried maize turnovers with savoury fillings like Pabellón (pulled beef, black beans, plantain & cheese)
🍟 Sides & Snacks – From cassava fries to cheesy tequeños and sweet mandoca, every bite is packed with authentic Venezuelan flavour.
🍋 Drinks & Desserts – Refreshing Papelón con limón (raw sugarcane limeade), indulgent Chicha (sweet rice drink), and signature treats like Tres Leches cake and Bienmesabe coconut cake.

Derby CAMRA Heritage B**r Festival starts this Wednesday 14 Oct at Derby Market Hall, and if you haven't booked your tickets yet, now's the time!

Choose from over 100 b**rs, ciders and perries, discover local and national breweries, and soak up the fantastic atmosphere in one of Derby's most iconic venues.

Featuring live music and entertainment each day.

🎟️ Sessions are selling fast, so secure your place today and raise a glass to one of Derby's biggest celebrations of b**r.

Tickets are free for CAMRA members, and £6 for non-members, plus a refundable £3 glass deposit.
Free entry on Wednesday for Blue Light Card holders and students with valid ID.

We're getting ready to welcome the Derby Heritage B**r Festival to the Market Hall, alongside an incredible line up of live entertainment, whilst the Spirit Run are running cocktail master classes on Saturday. Grab your b**r festival and cocktail masterclass tickets on our website!

🍻 The Derby Heritage B**r Festival takes over the Market Hall 5pm - 10pm, in partnership with Derby CAMRA! Alongside the b**r, we also have a fantastic line up of music:

Join us on Saturday 24 October for a free day of Tomb Raider-inspired fun for all ages.

Get hands-on with free family craft activities from Artcore (11am-2pm), creating clay artefacts, fossils and ancient treasures inspired by adventure and exploration.

Relive gaming history with a retro gaming zone with consoles provided by Derby Computer Museum, featuring classic Tomb Raider titles on original PCs, PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 consoles throughout the day.

Then from 5pm-10pm, grab your friends and head to Tomb Raver, a nostalgic DJ set from Rosco packed with 90s girl-power anthems, dance-floor classics and iconic throwback tunes as we celebrate 30 years of Tomb Raider.

🍺 Blue Light Card holders and students can enjoy FREE entry to the Wednesday evening session of Derby CAMRA Heritage B**r Festival! 🎉

As a thank you to those who serve our communities, and to welcome students to the city, we're offering free admission on Wednesday evening at Derby Market Hall from 5pm.

All you need to do is:
✅ Bring your valid Blue Light Card or student ID
✅ Pay a refundable £3 glass deposit on arrival
✅ Enjoy access to over 100 selection of real ales, ciders and craft b**rs

Don't miss the chance to kick off the festival with great drinks in one of Derby's most iconic venues.
