Here's the line up:

Caol Ila 2008 — 16 Years Old
A mature Islay single malt with additional sherry-cask influence.

Mannochmore 2015 — 10 Years Old
A rarely encountered Speyside distillery presented through the intensity of Octave maturation.

North British 2009 — 17 Years Old
A mature Lowland grain wh**ky offering a fascinating contrast to the single malts.

Royal Brackla 2014 — 10 Years Old
A limited expression from this historic Highland distillery.

Auchentoshan — 14 Years Old
A rare Octave expression of the triple-distilled Lowland single malt.

Craigellachie — 17 Years Old
A well-aged Speyside wh**ky from a distillery renowned for its rich, robust character.

Derby Wh**ky Club has partnered with Chevin Golf Club for a special evening introducing you to the wonderful world of **craft wh**ky**.

We'll be tasting **six carefully selected whiskies** that demonstrate just how much flavour, character and value craft wh**ky can offer.

Typically non-chill filtered, natural in colour and bottled at 46% ABV or above, craft whiskies are all about flavour – and great wh**ky doesn't have to cost a fortune!

Whether you're completely new to wh**ky or already enjoy a dram and want to broaden your horizons, this promises to be a relaxed, friendly and enjoyable evening.

These were the winners from a very happy Derby Wh**ky Club meeting on Friday night. Ardbeg 10 Cask Strength and Springbank 15 were clear winners but lots of love shared for the Paradise Funk from Turntable. Deanston 12 was very well received as was the Caduro X from Wire Works and a Signatory 100 proof Macallan.

Cant wait for the next one.

🥃 SIX LIMITED SINGLE-CASK WHISKIES. ONE RARE OPPORTUNITY TO TASTE THEM.

Derby Wh**ky Club is delighted to welcome Andrew Sinat from Duncan Taylor Spirits for a very special guided tasting of the Duncan Taylor Octave Collection.

We’ll be tasting six distinctive, limited single-cask bottlings:

🥃 Caol Ila 2008 — 16 Years Old
🥃 Mannochmore 2015 — 10 Years Old
🥃 North British 2009 — 17 Years Old
🥃 Royal Brackla 2014 — 10 Years Old
🥃 Auchentoshan — 14 Years Old
🥃 Craigellachie — 17 Years Old

These are not standard distillery releases. Each wh**ky comes from an individually selected cask and has been given additional maturation in a much smaller Octave cask.

At around one-eighth the size of a standard sherry butt, an Octave creates much greater interaction between the wh**ky and the wood—adding new layers of flavour, aroma, colour and complexity.

The whiskies are bottled in limited quantities at natural strength and colour. Once an individual cask has been bottled, that exact expression cannot be repeated.

Andrew will guide us through the line-up, explaining how the Octave process works, why particular casks are selected and what this distinctive approach brings to each wh**ky.

This is also our first Derby Wh**ky Club tasting led by a representative of a wh**ky company, giving us the opportunity to hear directly from someone with expert knowledge of the whiskies and the casks behind them.

Expect exceptional wh**ky, expert insight and our usual friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
