This elegant beauty is a white chocolate cake filled with crushed Raffaellos, chopped nuts, and silky white chocolate coconut buttercream, finished with a generous coating of coconut and topped with delicious Raffaello truffles. 🤍

Every layer is packed with that creamy, coconut-almond flavour that Raffaello lovers adore!

🎂 Behind Every “Just a Cake” Is… a Small Mountain of Paperwork 😅

Everyone sees the pretty cake. ✨

What they don’t see is the ingredient lists, allergen checks, batch records, cleaning schedules, equipment logs, recipe calculations, labeling requirements, and a desk that somehow disappears under paperwork before a single egg gets cracked. 😂

Running a small cake and catering business means wearing all the hats—baker, decorator, quality control manager, dishwasher, office administrator, and sometimes detective when trying to remember where that pen disappeared to. 🖊️

Because creating a custom cake isn’t just about making something beautiful… it’s about making something safe, consistent, and made with care for every customer who trusts us with their special moments. ❤️

So yes, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes before the mixer even starts.

The cake may take center stage, but the paperwork deserves a supporting actor award. 🎭😂

Thursday 25th June we open our Cake Shed doors!
Come visit our Cake Shed and treat yourself, friends and family to some goodies. The Cake Shed be open Thursday from 8.30am and menus will be posted here and on our insta page everyday we are open.

Now I just need your ideas on what you would like to see on our shed ☺️ Comment on this post what goodies you would love to get whenever you have a sweet tooth or need a quick treat for yourself, family or friends.

This is a work of love and wouldn’t be possible without the support of all my customers, some friends and my amazing Mum who helped me through the process of creating this shed for everyone to enjoy.

We’re delighted to be stocking a beautiful range of homemade Norfolk jams, chutneys and marmalades in our shed!

Made locally by Norfolk Garden Preserves, these delicious handcrafted treats are packed with flavour and perfect for toast, scones, cakes, cheeseboards or simply enjoying straight from the jar.

With tempting varieties including Gooseberry Jam, Dumpsie Dearie Jam and Morello Cherry Jam, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Pop in from Tuesday and support local Norfolk producers while treating yourself to something truly special.
