We have recently been informed that 86 new houses are planned for construction behind The Ballymac Fryer. While we welcome the development of new housing amidst the current housing crisis in Derry, we are concerned about the proposed main access road to the new estate, which is set to be located where our chip shop currently operates. This development would unfortunately lead to the closure of The Ballymac Fryer after 36 years of serving our community. We take pride in providing quality service and affordable prices, and we are committed to continuing this tradition.
