🐝 What a day at Bramble Farm Bees!

Today’s Discover Bees session was everything we love about what we do — guests fully suited up, frames in hand, and absolutely loving every moment with the hives. That look of wonder never gets old! 🧡

We rounded things off with a beeswax candle making workshop — moulded, dipped, and rolled — so everyone went home with something truly special, straight from our hives. 🕯️

Something I've been quietly working on for a while has finally gone live, and I'm genuinely pleased with how it's come together.

Booking a beekeeping experience day with us is now a completely different process. You can pick your date straight from a live calendar online — no more emailing back and forth hoping a date is still free. 🐝

I’ve also overhauled gift vouchers. You can now personalise them with the recipient's name and add your own message, then the lucky recipient can redeem them online at bramblefarmbees.com/redeem. Proper gift-giving, not just a code on a screen. 🎁

And from the moment you book, the emails just... work. Confirmation lands straight away, joining instructions follow closer to the time, a waiver reminder so nothing catches you off guard on the day, and a follow-up afterwards too. 🌿

It sounds simple but it's taken real effort to get right. I wanted it to feel as good as the experience itself.

🐝 Exciting news — Bramble Farm Bees is buzzing into Gravesend!

We’re thrilled to introduce our newest apiary, nestled in a sun-drenched clearing at Mid Kent Golf Course in Gravesend. The team there have done a fantastic job — clearing overgrown land, laying foundations, building bespoke timber stands, and finishing with wood chip. The result? A beautifully sheltered, south-facing spot tucked among the trees, with a glorious little reservoir right in front providing the perfect water source for our bees. 🌿💧

Today we delivered 6 nucleus colonies to their new home — each one colour-coded and ready to grow into full hives through the summer. With wild daisies in bloom around the water’s edge and fruit trees and hedgerow on all sides, the foraging opportunities here are exceptional.

A huge thank you to Mid Kent Golf Course for partnering with us and making this happen. This is what great conservation collaboration looks like — transforming unused land into a haven for pollinators. 🌼

Jo is all set up at Blackthorn Charity Maidstone for thier Summer open day and 40th anniversary. Pop down to visit they have a lovely little nursery and tea shop.

Ella and I have Discover beekeeping experiences today at the Bramble Farm apiary. Lots going on for the hottest day of the year! 🐝🐝🐝

The shop is open today and tomorrow morning for honey collections 🍯🍯🍯 or chat 🐝
