We are set up and ready to go for our very first time at the Inverness Farmers Market!

Come down to the High Street today between 10am and 4pm to grab some proper Highland cider.

Along with our usual core cans, we’ve brought along a couple of releases you won't find anywhere else right now:

Heavy Sun cans – fresh back from the warehouse and making their debut today.

Islay Cask – our brand-new batch of peated single-cask cider (not for the faint of heart)

Pop by, say hello, and sort your weekend drinks.

All our cider is wild-fermented and matured in oak casks — just apples and time.

When you think of traditional cider, the mind naturally drifts south. But Scotland has a rich, often forgotten orchard history of its own, and a landscape that produces truly unique cider.

Hot off the press "The Terroir of the North" is my attempt to define five regions shaping Scottish cider today. From the monastic remnants of Fife to the fortified orchards of Aberdeenshire and the wild, rare ciders of the Highlands, Scottish cider is finally discovering its sense of place.

Hit the link in the comments for a glimpse of the history, landscape, and geology behind Scotland's cider terroir.

Houston, we have cider. 🚀

Wee Archie (8) took over the marketing department for the afternoon to create this masterpiece for our Local Rocket scrumpy.

It's wild-fermented, unfiltered, and made from 100% fresh pressed Highland apples.

It’s cider with no messing abootery.

Is "Cheap" cider actually just a myth? 💸

We all love a bargain. But in the cider aisle, the price tag isn't quite what it seems.

We compared the cost of actual fermented juice in mass-market brands vs. proper full juice cider.
The result? To get the same amount of apple content found in 24 cans of proper cider, you’d have to buy 69 cans of the mass-market stuff.

Don't pay for the water 💧 Pay for the apples 🍎

It’s that time of year again! 🍎🗺️

Here is the official Scottish Cider Map 2026.
I've updated the parchment and plotted the producers to give you the most comprehensive view of Scotland’s cider landscape.

From the dense orchards of the East Coast to the outliers in the West. Aberdeenshire is starting to catch up with Fife in terms of cider density and it's absolutely brilliant to see the industry looking so vibrant this year.

A huge shout-out to all the makers featured 🥂 and Let me know if you spot your favourite or if there is a new cidery I need to add to the radar!

The calendar is a grid. The orchard is a circle.

Silence in the cidery today. No rushing. Just waiting for the sun to catch up with the date.
