It is always great to hear news of Moelview ponies from their owners and over the next few days, we will do our best to post updates on our page.

To start with Moelview Prince Charlie who is now owned by the Lea family and ridden by their son Charlie have had a successful start to their showing season. This new combination of Charlie and Charlie won and qualified for the RI Open A/B class at BSPS Area 9A Hereford Marches Spring Show and then at the BSPS Wales Spring Show they won the RI Young Rider Small Breeds M & M class, notching up a second RI ticket.

On Saturday we travelled to Gloucester to the WPCS AGM to collect an award for breeding the top Welsh Section B Sire 2025...Moelview Masquerade. Huge congratulations to the Waxwing Stud who own him. Moelview Prince Charming came third in the sire ratings. Congratulations to his owner Hannah Parr.xx As we are currently lambing, Jess Jones kindly picked the award up on behalf of the family.xx

Huge opportunity to purchase a top class Welsh section B licensed stallion with a proven pedigree.

Roughly measures at 13 hands.

Brian (as he is known at home) has been lightly shown in hand since a 2 year old with great success, including 1st at the Royal Welsh as a 3 year old.

He's was lightly backed at the end of last summer & has been turned away. We had planned for my daughter to ride him this year in novice classes, but as she is only a novice rider herself he realistically needs a more competent rider to bring him on.

Brian is an easy pony to get on with. He's regularly handled by young people, travels very well, happy to have his feet trimmed.

Used to farm traffic and livestock.

His sire is 3 times HOYS qualified, once being the prestigious CUDDY(now Price Family) in hand final.

His grand sire (on his sire side) Moelview Prince Charming is also 3 times HOYS qualified.

His grand sire (on his dam's side) Moelview Chieftain is 5 times HOYS qualified.

We believe Brian has potential to make a top breeding stallion, ridden stallion, or even a top junior gelding.

We believe Rosie has the potential to be a top quality ridden pony. Would also make a valuable brood mare.

Roughly measured at just over 12.3hh.

Only offered as her full brother (Moelview Thunderstruck) and full sister are retained at the stud, as are her sire and dam.
