CHAROLLAIS SHEEP for sale.

An ideal starter flock comprising just 8 full pedigree ewes. (Two x 4 crop, Two x 2 crop and Four x 1 crop).

Option to take (December 2024) Tup (Runner Up in Northern England Flock Competition 2025 Tup Lamb).

Also available are a selection of 2025/2026 born pedigree gimmer lambs and pedigree/crossbred tups. Our lambs have previously made top prices at the Melton Market Winter Warmers sale and reserve breed champion in 2025.

Tuesday saw the last of the Shorthorn girls joining up with the rest of the herd in Aberdeenshire, they looked happy to see them🙂.

As we're now officially cattle free, the tidy up of equipment starts and then we can focus on the sheep!

A noteable day yesterday, not just the insane temperature but the day our very first and very last Blonde heifers left the farm.

Heading to Cheshire, Katem Jewel and calf Banita followed Katem Virgil to Lowercroft Blondes and Philip Marsden

In many ways a sad day, but we are delighted that they have an excellent new home and hopefully make a great addition to their new herd.

A good chunk of the girls left us today, four nice cow and calf outfits and three heifers all bound for Aberdeenshire.

The start of the end as far as livestock is concerned, but also the start of a new future and a change of hobby😁.

So that's that, our final calving here at McNeils Mill, 10 wonderful years, 10th consecutive heifer and just the one sad loss from 86 calvings.
