The start of the end as far as livestock is concerned, but also the start of a new future and a change of hobby😁.

So that's that, our final calving here at McNeils Mill, 10 wonderful years, 10th consecutive heifer and just the one sad loss from 86 calvings.

For Sale, one calving aid with very little use and two junior Shorthorn Bulls😁.

Our last Blonde Bull ever!

Pedigree, non registered. Sired Blackwater Jockey, dam Katem Jewel.

30th September 2024 born.

Reared with Shorthorns and fed accordingly, all the length and depth you would want. Width may come with feed or age.

Traditional Blonde, fine b***d, narrow in the head and shoulders and possibly the smallest calf we've ever had which bodes well for easy breeding.

Weighs around 700kg, health status second to none.

Jewel had a heifer this year, also to Jockey which was again a small calf that now looks fantastic.

Managed to get a little bit of colour in this one😂.

No help required, Langhams Red Ridge Buffalo has produced small easy calves for a second successive year.

Just one to go and that's it!

Maiden Heifers Tartan & Tilly delivered two more heifer calves in the early hours. Unassisted at 275 and 282 days respectively, both sired by Langhams Red Ridge Buffalo Craig Fell Andrea Fell
