Back at one of our regular places for some amazing food yet again. The Pitman's Pantry never disappoints. As usual, D had the Large Breakfast and I tried the Lamb Stew with a dumpling and some fresh mash potatoes. As always everything was very tasty. Highly recommend trying this place.

So tonight after hearing lots of good things about Toll Bar Grill we thought we'd give it a go and for me personally, I really wish we hadn't bothered. We ordered 2 deep pan pizzas and some chips. The meat feast was awful and it was never a deep pan. It was burnt on top and almost tasteless. I asked for plenty of pineapple and there was NONE on it at all. Barely any tomato sauce on the base either. The chicken was clearly the frozen diced crap like you get in a bag from a supermarket. The only decent thing we had was the chips and the Pepsi.

A massive let down. I won't be in a hurry to go back.

Tonight (Wed 11th February) myself and my other half had a takeaway. Here's my review.....

Oh dear. Flames in Bentley. Ordered the Family Pack 7. Any 9 inch pizza, 9 inch garlic bread with cheese, chips, onion rings and 2 cans of Coke. All for £23.70 including delivery and a f**king service charge.

Every bit of it was AWFUL. The pizza was burnt and cold in the middle. The garlic bread was so greasy. The chips were really bad. They were tough to chew and hardly any chip spice on them. The onion rings were just disgusting. Very hard and certainly didn't taste anything like onions. The cans of Coke were warm due to them being in the same bag as the chips and onion rings. It doesn't take much to put them in a separate bag and NOT in the delivery bag with the hot food.

Overall it was absolutely disgusting. We ended up throwing most of it away.

Well today was a new one for us at a brand new café. Nana's Pantry opened today so we decided to give it a go and we couldn't fault anything. It was all really tasty. It's just over the bridge as you come into Toll Bar on the right side of the road. I even made sure my plate was clean when I finished. 😂

We'll definitely be returning soon enough. We try to support small and local businesses and this one is definitely worth a visit.

Highly recommended.

Our first visit to The Café Factor which is situated at the side of The Range just off York Road in Doncaster and we certainly weren't disappointed with anything. We both had our usual things. D had a Large Breakfast and I had a Small Breakfast. Both came with a Tea or Coffee and also with a choice of toast or bread and butter. We'll definitely go back to try something else from the menu but for our first time here it was very good.

If you're very shopping at The Range or any of the other shops nearby then call in. You won't regret it.

Our first review of 2026 and we went back to where it all started last year. Café Express was the first place we reviewed when we started this daft idea. Nothing has changed but that's certainly not a bad thing at all. D had the large breakfast and I had the small breakfast. The food was as always, really good. Cooked perfectly and very reasonably priced as well. We'd definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. I'm sure we'll be back again at some point.
