Weeding the blueberry rows by hand on wood chippings 🌱🫐

Labour intensive and seriously time consuming, but worth every bit of effort as we transition towards fully organic growing — no w**d killer sprays needed.

All the fruit has been picked so we are now closed.

A huge thank you to everyone who came and picked blueberries this year.

We've had the best season and it's been so great seeing so many of you return to fill your punnets with our delicious blueberries week after week.

All the fruit has now been picked so we have had to close today and wont be open Saturday 13th.

Thank you for supporting our small family business, it's fills us all with joy knowing how much you all love Puddletown Blueberries.

We will be open tomorrow, Sunday 7th September from 10am to 1pm only.

We have some lovely ripe fruit, though as we are coming to the end the bushes are not as plenty-full as earlier in the season.

Sorry. we will be closed this Wednesday but will be open Sunday morning 10am -1pm

We will be resting the blueberry bushes for a week to allow more fruit to ripen, so we will be closed Wednesday 3rd September

We will open Sunday 7th in the morning only, 10am to 1pm then our final day will be Saturday 13th September 10 am to 4pm.

Thank you all, we've had a fantastic season. There is still plenty to pick it just needs a bit of time to ripen up.

TIME FOR JAM

Amanda's amazing blueberry jam has been flying off the shelf so
she has very kindly shared her recipe with us below.

We encourage you all to make you're own, it's so much fun and you'll have you're very own supply for the winter ahead...

The berries are perfect and we still have lots ripe and ready to pick.

Here is Amanda's recipe -

*Equal amounts of fruit and jam sugar

*Heat the berry's and mash with potato masher to extract all the juice, add sugar and let it dissolve gently

*Bring to vigorous boil until 106°c on sugar thermometer or test on cold saucer in fridge until it creases when you push it with your finger.

*Pour into sterilised jars
