Denbies English Vineyard is situated in Dorking, Surrey. An all weather destination, the "Indoor Wine Experience" tours operate all year, the Outdoor Vineyard Train runs daily from March - November. Not quite Munich. Very much Denbies. 🎺🍁

We’re borrowing the best bits of Oktoberfest and giving them a Surrey spin for Notoberfest this Saturday, 3 October!

Expect live brass, German-inspired food, and a choice of Denbies w**e, local craft b**r and soft drinks, all in the heart of the vineyard.

The best part? It’s completely FREE. No tickets needed. Just turn up and enjoy the tunes! 🎺🍇

Autumn is officially in service. 🍁🍂

As the vines turn golden, our chefs have been busy capturing the season, from delicate seafood and earthy mushroom-led dishes to deeper, richer flavours made for this time of year.

Now being served in the Gallery, expect beautifully balanced plates, plenty of colour and, naturally, a Denbies w**e, or two.🥂🍇

Our Autumn Menu launches tomorrow, with a fresh line-up of dishes bringing more colour, texture and those deeper, richer flavours that feel made for this time of year.

And with harvest in full swing just beyond the windows, and Box Hill beginning to turn, there aren’t many better places to watch the season unfold. 🍇

From the Surrey Hills to the M&S aisle. 🍇

These images were taken back in spring, when the first buds were breaking and the vineyard team were at the very start of the season. 🌱

That stage, known as budburst, is when the vines wake up after winter and the first green shoots begin to appear.

Months later, after flowering, fruit set and plenty of work in between, we arrive at harvest. 🧺🍂

Now those first spring shoots have become English Lily Rosé, created as part of our long-standing partnership with M&S.

Made from fruit grown here in the Surrey Hills, it’s a lovely reminder that every bottle begins in the vineyard, long before it finds its place on the shelf.

There are races. And then there’s Bacchus… 🏃🍇

Running 10K deserves congratulations. Running a half marathon deserves congratulations. Doing either dressed as a dinosaur, in ski boots or as part of the Three Blind Mice deserves a category of its own.😁

What a day, Bacchus runners.

Whether you walked, ran or danced your way around the course, huge congratulations to everyone who made their way through the Surrey Hills on Sunday.

And to everyone who came along to cheer them on, thank you for bringing the noise from start to finish.🥂

A massive thank you too to the incredible staff, volunteers, marshals, face painters and musicians out on the course who helped make the whole day happen.

Bacchus is back this Sunday. Who’s joining us?

Fancy dress at the ready, w**e glasses waiting and around 3,000 runners preparing to take on the vines for the Bacchus W**e Half Marathon & 10K.

40 years of vines. 16 editions of Bacchus. And still definitely not your average race.

W**e along the way, brilliant fancy dress, live music and thousands of runners making their way through the vines. 🍇

Running places may be sold out, but the estate is open to everyone. Come down, grab a glass, cheer them on and join the celebrations throughout the day.

Can you spot the queen? 👑🐝

In the build-up to the Surrey Honey Show, we joined our resident beekeepers at Dorking Honey for a late-summer inspection of the Denbies hives. 🕵️

After such a hot, dry summer, there’s been a little less pollen and nectar around for the bees, so they were glad to receive an extra feed to help top up those all-important winter stores.

This Sunday, it’s the honey’s turn to take centre stage. 🍯 Last year saw more than 200 entries, with honey, beeswax, cakes, confectionery and mead all going before the BBKA judges.
