For one weekend, Drovers stepped back in time

Tara’s dress was OUT OF THIS WORLD, the guests fully embraced the medieval fantasy, swords were drawn to cut the cake and the ceilidh was amazing and had everyone on the dance floor.

Even our team surprised the couple by dressing up as tavern wenches and innkeepers for the day!

The rain moved their ceremony from the Orchard into the barn, but under the twinkly lights it somehow felt even more magical and atmospheric — like we’d genuinely stepped back in time.

October at Drovers is looking 🔥🎃

Our September Braai Night is now fully booked, so we’re officially taking bookings for our October Feasts.

🔥 17th October — South African Braai Night
Fire-cooked food, big sharing tables, proper South African flavours, a few drinks and a very good night out.

🎃 31st October — Halloween Spooktacular Feast
This one gets a little wild. Expect the barns transformed, fires burning, candlelit tables, spooky food, ridiculous costumes if you dare and plenty of after-dark fun.

Two October nights. Two very different feasts.
