No passport required.

Just good food, good people, open fires and a summer evening in the Herefordshire countryside.

Your ticket includes:

🔥Roosterkoek (traditional braai bread) filled with either:
🔥Boerewors (South Africa’s legendary sausage)
Served with homemade chakalaka.

🔥 From the fire:

🔥 Peri Peri chicken wings
🔥Slow-cooked ribs with monkey gland sauce (don’t worry, no monkeys were harmed in the making 🐒)

May is one of my favourite months for a wedding
Colourful flowers starting to bloom
Magical indoor and outdoor spaces that flow naturally from one part of the day into the next.

No rushing between venues.
No guests disappearing into taxis or hotels.
No feeling like you’re “on show”.

Just your people gathered together for a whole weekend of good food, music, conversation, and celebration.

The best weddings here don’t feel staged.
They feel like bringing your tribe together.

And May does it particularly well.

We’re not a restaurant. We are not open all the time. In fact we run a working 16th century Organic Farm.

We are a team of food people.
The kind who talk about what they’ve eaten for days afterwards, cook for the absolute joy of it, and genuinely love gathering people together around our fires and our tables

So when we do these nights… we put everything into them.

Fire cooking, smoke in the air, long tables, cocktails, music, food made to be shared properly.

And while everyone thinks of summer evenings outside on the farm — honestly, the cosy heated barn might be our favourite part.

Candles lit, fires going, everyone gathered in close while plates keep coming out of the kitchen.

If you know, you know.

G A T H E R
We’ve been doing this for years… we just didn’t have a name for it.

People arriving as strangers.
Leaving like they’ve shared something.

Long tables.
Fire cooking.
Conversations that go somewhere.

We never set out to “design gatherings”.
We just followed what felt right.

Then recently someone said —
“you know this is exactly what talks about?”

And it made us pause.

Because what she writes about —
intentional groups, shared experience, a bit of structure but not too much —
it’s what we’ve been building here without realising.

Same with things like
Small. Thoughtful. A bit unpredictable.

We’ve never called it anything.
But maybe we should start.
