Very excited to see this lorry arrive at the farm today with this year's Camel Potato seed onboard, all the way from Holland! We'll be busy over the coming months growing this and turning it into to what we hope will be a bumper crop ready to harvest in September!

We started harvesting the first of this year's Camel potatoes early yesterday morning with the full moon still in the sky. It's always a relief to see a thumbs up from one of our tractor drivers when the first trailer arrives at the grader!

25kg bags of hand selected Camel, Melody and King Edwards are available for collection or free local delivery for £15/bag.

Possibly the first time that anything that could be described as a hill has appeared on this page... Free advertising for "EWK Best Graded Potatoes" on the newly designed baseball caps, half way up the Devil's Kitchen in Snowdonia last weekend. Yesterday's M&S "Farming with Nature" meeting inspired me to check the habitats that we've created on our farm to encourage pollinators and other beneficial insects that help us to reduce our reliance on chemical control methods; Great to see the Dog daisies in full flower, and even a few thistles and nettles providing a home for friendly insects!
