Moments like today remind us why being a family business means so much. ❤️

Having gotten used to all this sun, and despite our best efforts to retire him!! Today, Harold forget his coat! 😂 Thankfully, one of his fabulous customers in Longdown took one look at him and made him stop and lent him a coat to keep him warm. 🥹❤️

It may seem like a small gesture, but to us, it means so much. These little acts of kindness are what make our customers feel like far more than customers — they become part of the Dunn’s Dairy family.

And then, as if that wasn’t enough to warm our hearts, a lovely customer from Exeter came down to the shop today to see us. They told us they would be with us for many years to come and that they would instantly recommend us on their local community pages. ❤️

For a small, family-run business, words like that are incredibly powerful.

We work hard every day to produce and deliver something we are proud of, but it is the people behind the bottles — the families who support us, the customers who believe in us, the people who recommend us, and the kindness they show us — that make all the hard work worthwhile.

Update for Green Cow Dairy Ltd - UK Cornwall customers who have been contacting us in the below areas.

Torpoint, Saltash, Liskeard, Callington, Bodmin, St Austell, Polruan ,Looe, Lostwithiel and everywhere in between.

Good Morning Everyone.
We would like to give customers an update on what's been going on here behind the scenes. We have been approached by Green Cow Dairy to provide our services to their customers. We will be writing to each customer over the next week, but our priority at the moment is to gather all of their customers information and get deliveries out to them alongside ours. It's been a very challenging week so far with lots more to be done.
We would like to thank the patience of any of Green Cows customers. Unfortunately we are not sure if all customers are aware. We are fully stretched at the moment but we will explain everything with a letter to help us both make a smooth transition. We are trying our best please bare with us. In the meantime if anyone has any questions please get in touch.
So just to clarify we have taken over customers from Torpoint, Saltash, Liskeard, Callington, Bodmin, St Austell (The Clays), Polruan ,Looe, Lostwithiel and everywhere in between. We have made most deliveries in the last week but will still need to get to the rest out this week. Please check your doorstep as we are not sure if our delivery days were the same as yours. Thank to those customers we have already spoken with. Will update over the weekend with any important information.

Just a reminder to please leave out cool boxes and ice packs for upcoming deliveries.
Even if you get your delivery in early it really helps to keep the temperature of the milk down.

Following very warm weather on Sunday, very high temperatures, accompanied by high humidity, are expected on Monday and especially Tuesday and will likely bring widespread impacts to people and infrastructure. In addition to high daytime maxima, temperatures overnight will remain very warm, especially in larger urban areas.

Temperatures are likely to reach the low to mid-30s Celsius in places on Monday and into the mid-30s Celsius more widely on Tuesday. Some places, particularly in urban areas, may see temperatures remain above 20 Celsius overnight.

The very high temperatures are likely to continue across parts of central and southern Britain further on into next week, albeit with some uncertainty in the extent and magnitude of this heat.

Very hot weather is likely to continue in general until at least Thursday across the highlighted region, although significant variations from place to place and day by day are likely. Temperatures by day are widely expected to exceed 30 Celsius, with the hottest areas potentially peaking around 38 Celsius.

Overnight, temperatures are unlikely to fall much lower than high teens Celsius, and some places will not fall below 20 or 21 Celsius. These high temperatures will also be accompanied by high humidity.

Cooler conditions may begin to become established from the west following this period, but confidence is low.
