"When should my mare arrive for Foaling Livery before her due date?"

This is one of the most common questions we get from horse owners planning ahead for the foaling season!

Our Answer:

We recommend bringing your mare to us 3 to 4 weeks before her expected due date.

Here is why that timeframe is so important for her and her foal:

Foaling is over for 2026 with a beautiful bay filly arriving safely for this recip mare. She's destined to be a polo pony and certainly does have a spark about her.

That's 15 foals we've foaled this year and I think the fillies have won the race over the c**ts.

If you are looking for somewhere to foal your mare in 2027 we have a limited number of spaces available.

We have three very correct foals for sale, two fillies and a c**t.
1- Lucy (TB) x Barrowby Thunder Rebel - Connemara stallion Pip Filly born May 2026 will go grey to mature around 15.2hh the type that would turn her hoof to many jobs

2- Callie (Connie) x Forinth - Stallion at Stud Toast bay Filly born May 2026 should mature around 15.2hh again will be the sort to do any job

3- Thistle (Connie) x Barrowby Thunder Rebel Paddington bay c**t born March 2026 full Connemara very correct pony should mature to 14.2hh could go showing/workers/pony club allrounder
