We're still celebrating our fantastic success at the W**egb Midlands and North W**e Challenge 2026, where our w**es received incredible recognition. We're so proud of what our small East Yorkshire vineyard has achieved. 💚

We have our first 2026 grape harvest date:
📅Saturday 19th September 📅

The timings are as follows:
🕗8am arrival & breakfast sandwiches
🕤8:30am Safety briefing & start
🕛12pm (roughly) Lunch - Jacket Potatoes with Chilli con Carne.
We will also have baked beans, cheese & coleslaw and a selection of tray bakes for puddings. 🍷During lunch there will also be a chance to try our w**es.
🕓4pm (roughly) Finish

Any time you can give is greatly appreciated.

‼️Booking is required ‼️
📩Please email [email protected] with the following information:
- Volunteer Names
- Contact Number
- Breakfast Sandwich Choice (options are: Sausage, Bacon, Vegan Sausage or Egg)
- Any Dietary Requirements

Harvest dates are on a first come first serve basis.
We have know all the spaces book up within 1-2 hours previously

We will be launching further dates within the next week or so as the rest of the grapes continue to ripen.

🚗All vehicles must be parked at the vineyard and our team will be on hand to guide you. 🚗

🚫This event is not suitable for dogs or children due to the machinery and equipment used. 🚫

We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news from the W**es of Great Britain Midlands & North W**e Challenge 2026… and we're still pinching ourselves!

Laurel Vines has brought home some amazing awards:

🥇 Best Estate, Grower & Bottled Sparkling W**e of the Year 2026 for our 2017 English Sparkling W**e.

🏆 Vineyard Personality of the Year 2026 awarded to our owners & head w**emaker Ian Sargent – a wonderful recognition for 16 years of dedication, passion and hard work in building Laurel Vines from the ground up with his wife Ann.

Here are pictures of our grapes from today, we have 13 different varieties across our 15,500 vines at Laurel Vines.

The wait is over –Laurel Vines is back open today, and we're looking forward to welcoming you back to the vineyard! 🍇☕

Our hardworking Catering Manager, Alastair, is back from a well-deserved family holiday feeling refreshed and ready to welcome guests to the vineyard.

The Laurel Pantry is open this week:

🦉🐥 OWLET NEWSS 🐥🦉

We’re delighted to bring you an update on the Owlets from the breeding pair in the vineyard.

Tony, our ornithologist, has been back this week to ring the owlets. Unfortunately, one of chicks has passed away. We have been reassured by Tony, that this is common for owls.

This chick has now been ringed, this now links it back to the vineyard should it ever be caught for research. It marks the second year in a row that we’ve had a successful breeding pair living here at the vineyard 🦉❤️

🌿 We're back from Tuesday 1st September! 🌿

Our little summer break is nearly over, and we can't wait to welcome you back to Laurel Vines from Tuesday 1st September. 💚

The Laurel Pantry will be open again for coffee, brunch and lunch, and our vineyard tours, w**e tastings and experiences will all be back in full swing.

September is one of our favourite times of year in the vineyard, with the vines looking their very best as we head towards harvest season. 🍇 It's the perfect time to visit, enjoy a glass of w**e overlooking the vines, and soak up the late summer sunshine while it lasts.

Thank you for your patience while our team enjoyed a well-earned family break. We can't wait to see some familiar faces again next week!
