Gill Hall Estate

Gill Hall Estate Set within acres of prime agricultural land, Gill Hall Estate is a location that’s famous for its beauty and its intrigue.

Established in 1670 by Sir John Magill, the now ruined stately home was made famous by Lady Nicola Beresford’s ghostly premonitions in 1693, and while the original architecture has disappeared, the natural beauty of the estate has been left very much in tact. It is now home to two of the UK’s oldest and finest pedigree breeds of cattle UpperMill Shorthorns and Old Glenort Angus.
