Andy's Birthday Taproom weekend is Friday the 4th of September 5-11pm. All the usual shenanigans! I think this one might have a ZERO on the end of it... So a biggie!

I think FB has been Fing us around on our post for Andy's Taproom. So I'm a little worried that folks don't know about it!

Importantly, you know he's the brain's of the operation... it would be awesome to get a good turn-out for him!

To note there will be no Taproom on the Saturday the 5th as we're supporting the whisky festival guys in Helensburgh!

People of the Peninsula, Cove Burgh Hall has a double treat for you this Saturday (7-10pm 29th August) evening. Now the most important of the two treats is to enjoy the wonderful music of Eilidh & Mark, two incredibly talented local musicians! The second is to enjoy a pint of our suds while enjoying the sound stage that this duo create. I've been lucky enough to enjoy a No Limits Brewing pint or two while listening to Eilidh & Mark when they supported our Save The Tower Arts Centre fundraising program. A double treat not to be missed!

Eilidh & Mark bring the heart of Argyll’s musical heritage to Cove with a night of rich traditional tunes, soulful songs, and beautiful original compositions. Eilidh, from Helensburgh, has been steeped in both classical and traditional music since childhood, and her playing carries that rare blend of natural musicality and deep‑rooted tradition that audiences instantly connect with. Mark, also based in Helensburgh, is a singer, songwriter, and multi‑instrumentalist with over 25 years in the industry. Like my T-shirt?? It is almost exactly 33 years old to the day! 33 years ago I had the most amazing week of live music. 29th July 1993 at Meadowbank Stadium I witnessed the phenomenon that was PRINCE on his ACT II Tour (when he became Symbol, to stick to the man). Then about 9-10 days later I saw U2 on their Achtung Zooropa Tour at Parkhead... just incredible performance. One of the first acts to experiment and innovate with video/digital film/images during a concert.

So today in the brewery to bring back all those incredible memories it will be a U2/Prince playlist!

Brewery BeerShop is open today 12-6pm.. tons of fresh beer just for you!

I'll also be brewing a completely new beer that I've been working on with a "mentor" head brewer in the states. An expert in big dark beers... today's should come about an 8% Imperial Milk Stout. So many new, to me, ingredients I'm playing with today!

Today in the brewery is going to be a blast! The music, the new brew and of course you!

What a week at The Tower Cinema in Helensburgh. I've already got my Transporting ticks bought and I've seen End of Oak Street... best popcorn/B-movie I've watched in years!
