🪙Not one jar, but TWO! 🪙

A huge thank you to one of our lovely regular customers who handed in two jars full of 5p coins this morning one large jar and one small jar!

It just goes to show that every wee 5p really does count, and together those little coins can make a BIG difference to our Marie Curie fundraising. 💛

You guys are just AMAZING!

Fancy joining in? Pop along to our Marie Curie table behind Checkout 2, where you’ll find small jars ready for you to take home and fill with your 5ps.

🌺 Dumfries & Maxwelltown Poppy Scotland Appeal Launch

It was lovely to attend the launch of the Dumfries & Maxwelltown Poppy Scotland Appeal on Friday morning.

It was wonderful to see so many people come along to support the launch and show their support for our veterans, serving personnel and their families.

Thank you to everyone involved in organising today’s event and to all those who give their time and support to this important appeal.

🌺 Every poppy makes a difference.

🥣🍎 A LITTLE REMINDER FROM MORRISONS DUMFRIES!

Okay, we might be a wee bit late sharing this one 😂🙈 but there’s still time to enjoy a FREE breakfast at Morrisons Café!

Until 1st November, families can enjoy a bowl of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies, with dairy or non-dairy milk, plus a piece of fruit.

And guess what? It’s for the grown-ups as well as the kids!

So, if you’re out and about during the school holidays, why not pop in and enjoy breakfast together?

Better late than never when breakfast is FREE! 😂

🪙Every wee 5p counts! 🪙

A huge thank you to one of our regular customers, who is also one of our poppy crafters, for handing me a jam jar full of silver coins to go towards our Marie Curie charity fundraising. 🌼

It just goes to show that every little bit really does make a difference. Whether it’s a 5p coin or a handful of change, every donation helps us support the amazing work from Marie Curie

Thank you for thinking of us and helping us make a difference, one wee coin at a time! 💛

🌺 Our community, coming together in remembrance 🌺

Today marked a very special milestone for the Poppy Drape project, as one completed panel was handed over to members of The People's Project, Dumfries

As Morrisons Dumfries Community Champion, Myra has been delighted to contribute her community time and help provide the space in store for our wonderful local crafters to come together for their attachment sessions.

This project, continued in memory of Doreen Johnston, has brought people together through their love of crafting and a shared wish to create something meaningful for our community.

It has been wonderful to see so many people giving their time, skills and creativity to help bring the Poppy Drape to life.

We’re looking forward to seeing the finished drape displayed in the Garden of Remembrance in Dumfries. 🌺

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in this special project. It’s another lovely example of what can be achieved when our community comes together. 💚
