Established in 1982 by the local Houliston family, Galloway Foodservice continues to supply the catering trade throughout Scotland and Northern England with fresh meat prepared by our own skilled butchers plus fresh, frozen, chilled and ambient foods.
We source quality Beef, Lamb, Pork and Poultry and as a fully licensed EU cutting plant we can offer complete confidence to our customers in our quality standards and traceability.
Our team of highly skilled butchers (some of who began their apprenticeships with us some 25 years ago) have spent time perfecting the recipes of our own made produce, including our own made haggis, burgers, slice sausage, link sausage and much more. They are able to make any variations of flavours to suit all requests. At Galloway we take great pride in our butchery team - having these skilled butchers onsite allows us to freshly prepare and pack to each individual customers requirements.
Furthermore, to compliment our butchery department we now have a designated bakery room. Using our freshly cut meats we are able to make a great selection of our own made pies, ranging from the traditional Scotch Pie to our increasingly popular Staggis Pie! We are always up for the challenge of making something new...
