Do we have rainbows for sale?

All customers who have booked fish will get them so yes, we have doubled production this year and will do so again next year.

Can I just call last minute wanting fish?

No these things take planning and most of our stock is now allocated to customers, we may have surplus especially later in the year

Why don’t we sell 1lb trout to fisheries?

Simple answer is numbers and cost, as we are just starting out the farm only has so many fish, if I sell fish that small it eats into my over all numbers meaning I won’t have 2lb plus fish later in the year.

Cost.. the food to get a fish to 1lb can be Tripple that of the food it takes to get them from 1 to 2 lb. So selling at 1lb there is no profit margin.

Hope this clears things up for everyone.
