A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us since we’ve opened back up! It’s been incredibly busy and we’re so grateful 🙌🫶🏻

Since we have been so busy recently, we have a good stock of rolls, breads and savouries. Seeing how this is definitely soup weather, we have the perfect accompaniment of various loaves.

Chilli beef and cheese pies are fresh from the oven 🤤

On Monday 23rd of February, there was a fire which involved our bakery. There has been substantial damage caused inside. The front shop has remained relatively unscathed but the same cannot be said for our stock room, roof and bakehouse.

The team of people that work here have given this business everything. We all work so hard to make sure it’s busy, welcoming and a place where people would like to visit again.

We are/ were, all so beside ourselves when we had seen all of the damage caused with not only the fire and smoke but from being flooded with the water that was used to put it out. There is little that we can physically do now but wait until this damage is repaired. We are desperately trying to avoid being closed for months on end and need to start the repairs ASAP. To do that though, we need help!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed concern today and checked in with us. We are all ok. The shop- not so much. As you can expect, we will be closed until further notice. Hopefully we’ll know more in the coming days with a time scale of how long we’ll be closed 🤞

We have a small amount of sea salt and rosemary focaccia today. If you’d like one (or any of the breads) kept for you, just give us a call on the shop phone and we’ll keep it aside. 😊

We’ve decided to open the shop tomorrow, so if you’re passing by and fancy any hot drinks, hot rolls, soup, some cake or bread then we’ll be open from our usual opening hours 8-3. 😁
