💙 Thank You, Leith 💙
As our very first Leith Food Festival comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend so special.
Launching a brand-new event is always a leap of faith, but the welcome we received from the Leith community was incredible. From the moment the gates opened, it was amazing to see so many people enjoying the food, music, entertainment and atmosphere that we worked so hard to create!
To everyone who bought a ticket, supported our traders, watched the live music, attended a chef demo, took part in an activity or simply came along to spend time with family and friends in the park - thank you!
A huge thank you also goes to our fantastic traders, chefs, musicians, performers, volunteers, crew and partners. Events like this simply wouldn't happen without your hard work, talent and enthusiasm.
We're also incredibly proud that together we raised £4,359.90 for SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) and a further £5,992 which will go directly towards the upkeep and maintenance of Leith Links. Supporting local communities has always been at the heart of what we do, and these contributions will make a genuine difference. 💙
This may have been our first year in Leith, but it certainly won't be our last. We've loved every minute of it and we're already excited about what next year could bring.
