At the weekend we had two pipe band events and no time to get changed to go and check the goats. So we made it happen, in slightly different farm clothes from usual 😂

Ce week-end, nous avions deux évènements de pipe band et pas le temps de nous changer pour aller voir les chèvres. Alors on s'est débrouillés, avec des vêtements de ferme un peu différents de d'habitude 😂

October is going to be busy with not one, not two but three yarn shows! First we will be at The Rooted Textiles Festival on the 4th October, then we’re heading over to Glasgow for the The Glasgow School of Yarn 15th anniversary!!! And finally we’re going back to the amazing Felletin in France for the Journées de la Laine Felletin from the 23rd to the 25th. As always, come see us, touch some yarn and chat about our goats 😍😍😍

Le mois d’octobre s’annonce bien rempli, avec non pas un, ni deux, mais trois salons! Nous serons d’abord chez The Rooted Textiles Festival le 4 octobre, puis nous mettrons le cap sur Glasgow pour le 15e anniversaire de The Glasgow School of Yarn !!! After 5 years of producing our yarn, I’ve finally found the perfect pattern (and the time!) to knit with it. So I’ve started a jumper, i’ll keep you updated as I make (slow) progress!! From the producers straight to the person wearing it 😍😍

Après 5 ans passés à fabriquer notre fil, j'ai enfin trouvé le modèle idéal (et le temps!) pour tricoter avec. Je me suis donc lancée dans la réalisation d'un pull, je vous tiendrai au courant au fur et à mesure de mes (lents) progrès!! Directement des fabricants à la personne qui le portera 😍😍

We’re going through a bit of a heatwave (again), luckily the goats are experts at cooling down! Not necessarily in the most dignified way but it’s the result that counts 😂

On traverse (encore) une vague de chaleur, mais heureusement, les chèvres sont passées maîtres dans l'art de se rafraîchir ! Pas forcément de la manière la plus digne qui soit, mais c'est le résultat qui compte 😂

As the temperature goes back up for another heat wave, the goats (and us!) are doing our best to stay cool. They’re definitely making use of their field shelter 🥵☀️
