We are searching for a talented individual to join our team based at our site in 𝐷𝑢𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑛, 𝐶𝑜. 𝑇𝑦𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑒 on a full-time permanent basis.

As Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the financial and accounting operations of the business.

𝐾𝑒𝑦 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠:

· Managing site finance and accounting operations.
· Delivery of strategic financial objectives.
· Managing financial risk.
· Preparing and publishing timely 4 weekly and annual management accounts & reports.
· Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances.
· Ensuring the operation of effective credit control procedures.
· Liaising with Head Office/advisors to ensure R&D claims are fully maximized and are compliant.
· Supporting the development, management, and implementation of the Information technology strategy for the business.
· Leadership of the Finance/Admin team; and
· Contributing to the ethos of continuous improvement and performance management.

𝐸𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝐶𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎:

· Qualified accountant holding ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional qualification.
· Ideally have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
· Possess excellent IT skills including MS Office Skills and in, particular, Excel.
· Have excellent business acumen and commercial awareness.
· Can communicate effectively at all levels and build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
· Enthusiastic and hard working with ability to work under own initiative; and
· Strong analytical and interpreting skills.

𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑟𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝐶𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎:

· Previous experience of leading and managing a finance team desirable.
· Experience of installing new IT business systems and developing the necessary reporting information.
· Experience of introducing new processes and managing change

Working hours are Monday to Friday but 𝑓𝑙𝑒𝑥𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠 𝑚𝑎𝑦 𝑏𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑.

Salary is highly competitive and negotiable depending upon experience.
