Summer appointments

With summer approaching, I know kinesiology is the furtherest thing you are thinking of, but I cannot stress enough, please get your child booked in over the summer with plenty of appointments, if needed and not at the very end of summer.

We are so lucky this summer that we have so many exciting things planned and very special occasions occurring, so availability won’t be limited as such, but I won’t be able to stretch like I usually can. Especially towards the end of August (when I always get an influx of messages looking kiddies booked in)

I know it’s obv hard to tell how your child will be but if you have a feeling or know they might find transition difficult, please just get ahead, as I feel so guilty if I can’t get everyone fitted in and properly seen for how long I need to.

If you have any questions or concerns, please message me and I’d be more than happy to answer anything.

What?! June? How?

Anyone else’s mind blown by the fact it’s June?

There is a lot of excited people/ teachers/ students/ kids counting the days down to the end of term. Myself included. I love getting out of the routine of school and going at a much slower pace. Most activities stop and it’s honestly just heaven (until they start killing each and you wish it all back 😂)

A lot are on the wind down, but what I’m seeing in clinic is quite the opposite. There is a lot of overwhelmed adults and kids who can’t seem to see the end to their big high stressful emotions. We are working through it all brilliantly but this is just a glimpse of what we are all feeling on a daily basis.

We feel the stress never ends, it’s just added upon. The break we are dying to get, doesn’t feel like a break or goes that quick we don’t even get to enjoy it.

Let’s bring it back to basics.

☀️ Keep the summer schemes to a minimum
🧺 Keep the picnic basket handy and throw the bikes/ scooters in the car and away you go
🛝 Remember all the parks on our doorsteps is fab and always updating that list
🧘‍♀️ Remember to have at least a few different parts of the day to rest and relax
🎨 Arts and crafts are your friend, Google easy recipes for playdoh, potions etc let them outside to tear on

Take it easy, enjoy the chaos and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. My fondest memories are playing outside with my siblings and cousins and friends.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

I’m very excited to say that I’ve started and working through my Cranial Sacral Training.

Many of you have probably heard me talk about this, as it’s something I’ve wanted to do for such a long time. It’s absolutely amazing and such incredible work.

I have a few case studies to do, I require babies under 3 months who can be unsettled at times. If you know of any one who has just had a baby or if you yourself has, please pass this post on to them to get in touch.

It will be free of charge off course and I will continue to see the babies for however long required as a thank you.

What 10 years of practicing kinesiology has taught me

I am qualified for nearly 10 years now, the 3 prior to that, I was studying it every single week; without fail. I never missed a day. (My secondary school teachers would be gobsmacked 😶😂)

Seeing people week in, week out over the years has shown me, how we all need a little help, sometimes a lot.
Often and usually I cannot do it all. It takes a team to help others.

That’s why it’s so important to start your journey with whomever you feel aligned to and attracted to. We all want to help others, we always give it our best go. Practitioners can help with the smallest of things or the biggest. That’s what makes kinesiology so amazing and adaptable for all ages. From the new born babies to the elderly, at all ages and stages we need some help.

So this is your reminder to reach out, to whoever you feel is best to help you.

What 3 years of studying kinesiology taught me

I studied my kinesiology advanced diploma in Perth, Western Australia at O’Neill kinesiology college, to say this was life changing is an understatement.

Studying kinesiology taught me how incredible our mind, body and spirit are. How when we put our mind to something, there is no stopping us!

How resilient and amazing people are. When you study a thing like kinesiology, you see parts of people their families probably don’t even see, you are with them for years and work on each other every week to train and practice and study, but the amazing part is, we as the students get all that work done on ourselves too!

How there is no right or wrong in healing, it’s messy, fun and oh so worth it!

How you change as a person, you learn so much about yourself you didn’t even realise or know.

The biggest thing studying kinesiology taught me has been, that it shows me I’m unstoppable. Not in an arrogant I want way, but in a quiet, let’s do this! Let be supportive to others way.

So when you come for your appointment with me, I hope I can help crack you open to all the possibilities kinesiology has given me over the last 10 years.

Hello April 2026

Yes, you read that right. It’s April!

I genuinely don’t know how I woke up and it’s now April 1st 2026.

Time is flying in and I need it to slow down. I need to start being present. I need to start enjoying the days instead of racing through them like I’m an F1 driver.

Life goes on no matter what, it’s a good thing as it keeps us moving forward but a wee slow day would be nice.

Can we please all start manifesting a break in the weather and no rain! I don’t care about the cold, just please don’t rain.

We have the full moon on April 2nd, so please let go of any sh*te you keeping holding on to. Now is the time!

Let’s hope April will be a little brighter, funner and more settled than the last 3 months

The time is quickly moving in to exam time for a lot of students.

This can be a very overwhelming and worrying time for them.
