Have you tasted this summer’s best selling wine yet?

Passerina is a local variety from Central Italy that you probably haven’t heard of before. Derived from the Italian word for sparrow (passero), the grape gets its name for the little bird’s proclivity for eating the ripe berries before they make it into the wine bottle!

With its fresh citrus notes with pear, peach and floral flavours, it’s not just the sparrows that have fallen in love!

Join us for an unforgettable evening on Saturday 12th September as we welcome back the wonderful Chef Joery Castel.



Originally from Holland and now based in Northern Ireland, Joery brings a wealth of culinary expertise—from his celebrated tenure as Head Chef at Castle Leslie to founding The Boat House in Belfast, which earned 2 AA rosettes and recognition in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 UK Restaurants.

Expect a menu that challenges and delights, blending unusual flavour combinations inspired by his summers across Holland and Northern Ireland. Each course will be paired with carefully selected wines from our exclusive cellar, curated to complement Joery’s innovative dishes.
