For what we did together, plans we'd made a start on. A legacy to unfold.
For a unique lady whose infectious creativity and passion for nature will always stay with us. Selfless in her generosity and mentoring. Leading the charge, with the courage to live by her beliefs. Working a (sometimes sweary) flurry of floral magic with her hands and imagination. Staying true to British-grown. Inspiring others to do the same.
Seven weeks ago, Jo's release from pain coincided with our natural world shifting its season. The oppressive weather broke. Every plant launched forward. Giving the most beautiful bounty of autumn flowers, berries, textures and seed heads. A rich medley of wild stems and colours going into her birthday month.
Peter and Christine, we admire you for finding the strength to carry on in Jo's absence, and through the worst kind of grief. Thank you for bringing people together on 28th September to celebrate her life.
It's a travesty that Jo should miss out on what lies ahead. Take the spark from that sense of injustice; find a use for its energy that would make her proud.
