At Alphabake Cookery, we think it’s sad that TV dinners are more common than chatty family meals. And we think it’s a shame that children aren’t learning home-taught kitchen skills in the way that older generations did. It’s shocking that some young adults get to university without the basic skills or knowledge needed to cook themselves a healthy meal. That’s why we’re on a mission to make cooking

cool again! Our fun, foody workshops and parties help children of all ages and abilities to get hands-on in the kitchen. We are excited to be taking Alphabake Cookery nationwide with our franchising package. Fantastic week at City of Chelmsford Mencap
Was all about pastry making !
Strawberry Tart and Sausage Rolls
Noticed the sausage rolls didn’t hang around long enough for a photo 🤷‍♀️
Can’t trust a hungry staff member 🤣

Oh my goodness, these were soooo good !!
City of Chelmsford Mencap students just love cheese, sausages and beans (who doesn’t 🤷‍♀️) so we turned it into a lasagne and how tasty was that !!
Plus I did my take on an upside down pudding and turned them into cookies !!
Let’s just say nothing even got cold 🤷‍♀️
Brilliant food, such fun and lots of trips down memory lane ! Not sure I can do the artic roll successfully though 🤣🤣

Amazing time at City of Chelmsford Mencap with my favourite students making yummy food 😋😋
This week was Jaffa Cake (just wow) like a lemon drizzle but orange and topped with chocolate 😋😋 plus Tuscan Chorizo Pasta with a fresh tasty creamy sauce 😋😋
