❗️PEOPLE OF DUNMOW – WE NEED YOU!❗️

Much of the last year has been terrible for so many, in our professions, welfare and wellbeing. Despite that, the people of Great Dunmow and the surrounding areas have continued to show compassion and kindness to each other and our community. At the core of our town we believe Dunmow is . That's what makes Great Dunmow, great!

During February, Great Dunmow Round Table want to recognise this with 28 Days Of Kindness in our community. Do you know of someone having a rough time at the moment? People who genuinely need a little extra help? Please nominate them for one of our 28 Days Of Kindness. You can nominate yourself, but please only ask if you really need it.

We have 28 shopping vouchers of £100 each for Dunmow High Street to give away for each day within February. To nominate please complete the form below. At this time we are only accepting nominations from Great Dunmow and the immediately surrounding areas.

🛑 DRIVE IN CINEMA - SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🛑

We're really pleased to bring you some EXCITING news regarding our Drive in Cinema weekend!!

For our showing of Frozen on the 5th December, we're going to have some VERY special guests joining us from Enchanted Parties

They will be coming along to see all the little (and big) boys and girls, and will be performing songs from the film before the show!

A few weeks ago we were able to go to Addenbrooks and deliver our gifts due to
COVID restrictions they could accept the donations.

Thank you to everyone who support us and helped us raise an incredible amount despite having to cancel our event. We are both so grateful and know that there will be 88 children over the Christmas period who will be sadly sending time in hospital have a smile with their ‘brave bear’.

Thank you Build-A-Bear Workshop for donating and matching our order, crazy soap for the colour changing bubbles and animal sponges & Fordes Home for delivering the bears to the hospital. Also tonies for your tonie box and tonies which will be very loved in the children’s wards.

Two women have raised £1,100 to support Addenbrooke’s Hospital’s childrens wards and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge.

We have decided to do a raffle with some amazing prizes ✨

All proceeds will be donated to the Chemotherapy Unit at Broomfield Hospital, who are currently treating Jean for Breast Cancer.

Tickets can be purchased at our showroom for just £5 a strip!

We have an incredible hamper worth over £350! 💖

Also curtesy of Beauty Extend, A Manicure & Pedicure, Hena brows & classic set of eyelashes are all up for grabs.

Tickets are available to purchase at our showroom until Thursday 29th October.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Both Jess and I are so so thankful for each and everyone who bought tickets, shared our raffle, tagged friends and supported us from the very beginning.

We were both very sad to have had to cancel our event due to COVID but we’re determined to still fundraise for Addenbrooks hospital children’s wards & The Rosie Maternity unit.

And we are extremely happy to say we have reached our target and raised £1,050.

Thank you all so much and we can’t wait to meet the winner of our raffle but also to go to the hospital with all the toys we will be buying and getting something for the maternity unit that the need.

You’re all amazing.
