What a brilliant day yesterday! ☀️ We definitely lucked out with the glorious sunshine !!🌞🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌞

Huge thanks to Dunoon BID and team for organising such a bustling market on Argyll Street for the locals and visitors. Add to that all the fantastic bands and dancers marching back down town last night. 🎶🥁🎆

The Cowal Games atmosphere throughout the day was brilliant; smiles all around, plenty of patter and just such a lovely cheery buzz. What a celebration of our town and community! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our wee stall and supported us. 🍔🤗

We appreciate each and every one of you - thank you for helping make it such a great day! ❤️

Last night we buried a sausage (yes, really!) to test the famous wedding tradition said to bring good weather.

The result? Sunshine for Saturday Cowal Gathering 2026! 🌭😎

A big thank you to Kents of Dunoon, Butchers for supplying the most important sausage in Cowal.

🔥 From 9am at the old Cameron’s Dairy site, we’ll be firing up the breakfast grill, serving up fresh rolls n award winning sausage and bacon. 🥓🌭

🥧 We’ll also have plenty of our homemade pies ready to grab and go!

⏰Then from mid morning, it’s time for proper Cowal Games burgers! 🔥🍔 Quality Angus Steak, cooked fresh to order.

🏪 The shop will be open 9am–12pm for all your essentials, including fresh Morton’s & Aulds rolls. (Parking to the rear. 🚙🚗)

A new batch of meat lasagne has just been made.
We make our lasagne with the most freshest and quality ingredients from home-made bolognese made with fresh local butcher meat from Kents of Dunoon, Butchers to our amazing bechamel sauce.

We’d love to take the credit for our fabulous Cowal Games window… but all the glory belongs to our very talented Sales Assistant Extraordinaire, Carrina North! 🧶✨

Head honcho of Arts & Crafts, Carrina has worked her crochet magic to create the most amazing display, complete with crocheted Bonnie bangers and Highland haggis and showcasing Percy Pig and Highland Hamish! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We absolutely LOVE it! ❤️

Carrina’s crocheting talents are endless, but she has a particular talent for creating the most adorable plushie characters and quirky little creations. 🧸

You can find a selection of her gorgeous handmade plushies at & Jaywayz and Carrina also takes commissions for bespoke creations, so if you have a favourite character or something special in mind, she can bring it to life! ✨

A big thank you to the Dunoon Presents team for a showstopper of a day at Dunoon’s very first Food & Drink Festival! What a huge success today was for the town!! 🌟🌟

And a massive thank you to everyone who came out to support this new event. We can’t wait to see what next year brings, but in the meantime, we’ll see you all back at the Castle Gardens tomorrow for more delicious food from Argyll! ☀️☀️
