Back in the good old days, when I used to go with my Grandma and Grandad to the local butchers to pick up a joint for a traditional Sunday lunch. 😊
You just can’t beat a proper Sunday Roast with the family gathered round the table ❤️

A trip was had to one of my favourite, local farm shops on Saturday. The lovely family run Holmside Farm Fresh.
They had lots of lovely savoury and sweet delights to choose from.
The Lorne sausage was eaten in a soft bun with a fried egg and was fabulous!
For lunch, on Saturday, we had one of their homemade pies, chicken and leek which reminded me of a bakery from when I was a child, and my other half had a steak pie. Both were excellent!

A quick visit to one of my favourite local farm shops Holmside Farm Fresh picked these up for pudding tonight, toffee apple tart 👻🎃💀 Halloween style!
Also really looking forward to trying the middle bacon and Lorne sausage, for tea later in the week.
If you haven’t been, this little gem is worth a visit 😋
