Huge congratulations to our Director of Customer and Corporate Services, Louise, who has become the first person ever to achieve a brand-new customer service leadership qualification.

Louise picked up the mini-MBA award at a special ceremony by the Institute of Customer Service in the House of Lords last night and we're very proud of her achievement.

Small changes can make a big difference when it comes to saving water. 💧

Swapping a bath for a shower can save between 60 and 80 litres of water each time. And if you shorten your shower by just one minute, you could save around 10 litres of water. 🚿

You can save even more water by fitting an aerated shower head and collecting the water that runs while your shower warms up, ready to reuse later on indoor plants or in the garden.

Yesterday, some of our Health & Safety team spent their Just an Hour volunteering at Aidan’s Kitchen at St Aidan’s Church in Pity Me, Durham.

The team helped set up tables, chatted with local people looking for company and support, and even got stuck into some painting and gardening outside 🌿

It was a fantastic morning giving back to the local community, made even better by the warm welcome from Elaine and the volunteers at Aidan’s Kitchen.

It was a brilliant opportunity for small groups to spend a few hours making a real difference 💙

Last week, our Technical Trainers, Aleck and Ally popped along to Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough to deliver an engaging session of water-focused activities at a Children's Eid Event, helping young people learn more about the vital role water plays in everyday life. 💧

We were delighted to support the event, which was delivered by Amal Project Teesside in partnership with Middlesbrough FC and MFC Foundation and was attended by over 90 children and young people from four local schools for a day of learning, fun and cultural celebration.

Events like this play an important role in bringing people together, creating a sense of belonging and inspiring the next generation. 💙
