Have you heard of cowboy butter?
If you haven’t it’s worth reading on.

Cowboy butter is a compound butter that’s filled with the flavours of garlic, herbs, lemon, Dijon mustard, smoky paprika, shallots and tons of other stuff.

It can be used on myriad foods.
Melt it over grilled steaks, dip seafood in it, spread it on warm bread, or toss with roasted potatoes and vegetables, and it’s great to freeze, which means when needed, just hack off a chunk.

I make tons of flavored compound butters during the year, so I’ve added this to my ever expanding list.

For those of you who want to make it yourself , you’ll find the full recipe on my website.
For those who don’t, I’m beginning a little side hustle to sell flavored compound butters, which means , if you Dm me , I’ll give you a list of the ones I’m making right now.

Connecting Communities with Foodie Book Club CIC are putting together a cook book of all those family recipes we grew up with, and we need your help.

Those recipes from your childhood, the ones your mother or grandmother cooked, with love, for you in their kitchen are the ones we want to collect.
Those dishes that bring back memories are the best dishes, and we need your help collecting them.

And if you have, you’ll know how amazing it is to have drizzled over, well everything.
From pizza to quiche, ice cream to pulled pork, sweet or savory, whatever you drizzle it over , it adds a sweet spicy kick.
