Foster dog Taz had a great time today at the Northumberland Greyhound Rescue Great Global Greyhound Walk at Tyne Green, Hexham. He behaved well and quite a few people were interested to meet him. He met a tiny baby for the first time, a few children and a few other breeds. Hopefully someone has fallen in love with him and he will find the forever home he so deserves.

Special Hen crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 yesterday morning. She had a lovely final day on Friday being cuddled, having the sun on her back one last time and being visited by her 2 wild duck friends who spent time sitting with her and wandering over to see her. She spent her last night in our bedroom so she wasn't alone.
She's buried under the lavender in one of her favourite areas in the garden and I put the last of this year's raspberries in with her as they were her favourite treat.
We'll miss you Spesh, thankyou for giving us years of fun and love ###

Foster dog Taz is doing really well. Loves a cuddle, is my new baking buddy and is perfect in the house. He's calming down a lot on walks but needs more work on his reaction to other breeds getting too near to him. And he's a big, strong lad so will need someone experienced with sighthounds to adopt him x

Meet our new foster dog, the stunning Taz. Taz has been in rescue kennels for over 10 months as he's a big black male who is reactive to other breeds and bouncy and can be strong on the lead. He was like zebedee in his kennel and could almost reach the ceiling 😬. He's found the sofa in super quick time and I'm in love already 😍

Yesterday was the end of an era for us. After a lot of consideration the alpacas have gone to a new home. They will be very happy there and will be helping older children and young adults who need an education system that isn't mainstream. We will be visiting them often and are delighted that they have stayed together as a herd.
