A fabulous day at North Berwick Harbour Market last weekend! Launching week!

Thank you to the team Scotland's Towns and to STV weather man Sean Batty and BBC presenter Nick Kwek for coming along for the day!

Thank you also to the stall holders that braved the wind and to all of the visitors to the market! It was a busy one!

North Berwick Harbour Market! ⚓️🦞

Although it was a VERY windy day at the harbour, we all had a fabulous time launching week! 💨

STV presenter and weatherman Sean Batty flew the flag for supporting Scotland’s local businesses here at the market!

He was joined by BBC producer Nick Kwek where they cooked up some treats with Balgone Store 👨‍🍳

Scotland Loves Local Week 2026 is themed on Flying The Flag For Local Businesses.

It highlights the increasingly important role of local enterprises in sustaining and growing communities and economies – safeguarding jobs and keeping places vibrant.

Thank you to Chris Story Nick Kwek and to all of the stall holders and visitors that braved the wind!

The market this month is also the official launch of Scotland Loves local! There will be special guests 👀 and 🎥 and 🧑‍🍳

Important update!

Dirleton Market on the Green will now be at Archerfield Walled Garden on Sunday!

IMPORTANT UPDATE!
The market team have been anxiously watching the weather apps all week and sadly it’s not looking great for Sunday. Rather than cancelling the market we have taken the decision to re-locate. Our incredibly supportive sponsors Archerfield Walled Garden have come to the rescue and the market will now take place in the Barn and outdoor area.
If you can please spread the word about the change of venue that would be fab. Looking forward to a great market day in a more sheltered venue!
