I feel everyone underestimates the venison shank. It’s one of my favourite cuts to eat and cook. Slow cooked for 8 hours on low, it just falls of the bone and you are left with the delicious meat. It fed 3 of us with plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow. Yummy 😋. What’s your favourite cut of venison???

Good Afternoon, it is with great disappointment that I am having to write this, but unfortunately we are not allowed to stand the Retford Farmers Market tomorrow Saturday 20th June due to me calling to make payment 5 minutes after the time. We are very disappointed and have expressed this with the council. We have been doing the market now for over 3 years in which we have continuously supported the market and the community of Retford. I am very sorry to all our customers that support us and our family run business, if only the council would be just as supportive. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow . See you next month.

Sorry we have been very quiet recently, we have been dealing with a family illness. Due to this we are needing time as a family to cope with our loss of a very special lady we call Nanny Percy.
