👋 Meet Adam Spencer, the owner of Westlands Butchers Limited who has recently purchased the long-standing A W Bacon and Sons of Retford, which has caused somewhat of a social media storm to say the least! 👀

The old owners and customers who know Adam can rest assured that the business is in the safest of hands to continue for another 88 years supporting the local area.

These are big shoes to fill, but please join us in wishing him and their team the warmest of welcomes keeping this heritage shop alive and bringing fresh ideas to this wonderful town.

Meet Haydn! Our butcher at Westlands! 🌟

​Haydn has been a key part of the Westlands for almost 4 years now, bringing quality customer service and excellent conversation to the team every single day.

​Quick Facts About Haydn:

​💼 What they do: Haydn is coming to the end of level 3 butchery in January, meaning he will be fully qualified for all health, safety and food safety requirements! Generally doing a lot of odd jobs and serving up at Westlands.

​⭐ Favorite part of the job: "I like product testing." Haydn enjoys making new products to sell as well as putting on excellent looking cabinet displays!

​☕ Powered by: Ramen, decaf coffee and vibes.

​🌴 Off-duty favorite activity: Haydn enjoys gaming a lot on his PC and Xbox. He also attends a lot of miniature wargaming events like Halo and Warhammer!

Say hello to the team behind Westlands Butchers Limited and Bacons.

Meet Archie.

Archie is our young apprentice here at Westlands and has been with us for over a year now and brings fierce energy and tough standards 😅 a very quick learner and gets stuck in to any task going.

Fueled by Red bull, full sugar coca cola and crisps, archie has been a great addition to the team.

🔸 Archie's favorite part of the job - " I like to butcher lamb" 🐑 he really is a man of many words

🔸Favorite hobby outside work - Driving tractors, young farmers and anything to do with farming 🚜

We will see more familiar faces over the coming weeks 😁

​We’ve just pulled a fresh batch of Black Pudding Sausage Rolls and Black Pudding Scotch Eggs from the kitchen, handcrafted right here in the shop!

​We’ve combined our premium seasoned sausagemeat with rich, traditional black pudding:
