Albo,Some of the most imaginative food I have tasted in such a long time. The ingredients are mostly local, sometimes foraged or from local suppliers including the local fishing boats or from suppliers in the area but put together with such skill. The chef Ferments, pickles and cures so much that we had a little parade at the end of the meal of the bits he's developing for future menus, amazing.
If you want to try something that's unique in it's flavour and texture profile, you have got to try this place. They have a lunch offer which means you can try a couple of bits and get a glass of wine for free! ( which was also delicious) which makes it ridiculous value.
The couple who own this unassuming little place are amazing people as well, who are trying to do something different in the area.
A few weeks ago I posted about how amazing at Leonards was for food I and left you with a video of the Goat ledge where there was an amazing vibe on the beach but more than that some amazing cooking in their wood fired oven. I will do a separate post for that soon.
But the restaurant that absolutely made the day was this one, Albo.

Hey mepeeps,
Nothing to report unfortunately just thought I'd share tonight's dinner.
Seasoned barbequed marrow filled with spiced rice and Marinated barbecued chicken drumsticks with a homemade curry sauce topped with fresh mint and crispy onions.....Monday night y'all!!!
Been a bit busy with my new job but hopefully I'll be back in the game soon.

St Leonard's is amazing it's official. Just at Goat ledge about try some wood fire roasted chicken wings and some fresh lemon sole.

Heya, something new is coming....😁
From Sunday the 7th of June 'Our Place' will be coming to you from the Garden Kitchen 🥳🥳
From 3 till 7 on Sunday evenings we are doing food for everyone to enjoy in the garden (or inside) at the Rainbow. Including Pork Tacos, OP Crispy Chicken wings, Duck Tacos, Pork Belly Bao Buns and more. So you bring the Sunshine and we'll bring the food whilst you grab a drink from the beautiful Rainbow pub to go with both.
If all goes well we may even be introducing a curated Cocktail and drinks list to go with some new dishes going forward... anyway one step at a time.
