It was a busy ol' weekend in the Eventful Kitchen!

On Saturday we had the privilege of catering for a wedding set in a stunning location over in Monyash!
Canapés, grazing boards and cakes.

And Sunday preparing boxes for all those fabulous Dads! 😍

The wedding was a busy afternoon and so unfortunately we didn't get a chance to take many photo's! 🤦‍♀️

(And to the lovely gentleman who provided us with a glass of much needed cold fizz! 🥂)

Ploughman's - Unstone Hill Farm shop pork pie, home cooked honey roasted ham, sausage roll, cheese and pickles.

Indian Box - The bhaji shop homemade Bhaji's and Samosas, chicken tikka, mint yoghurt and an onion salad.

Please join us on Thursday 4th June when we bring together a unique evening of Moss Valley and Woodthorpe Cider.

Hear about the wonderful producers and their stories, learning about the process behind the product, tasting their amazing handmade products as we go.

We are hoping for a beautiful warm evening day around the fire pit in the courtyard surrounded by the historical barn and tranquil gardens.

Ahead of a busy bank holiday weekend, we have been out buying produce as fresh and local as we can.

At Eventful, supporting local isn’t just a preference, it’s part of who we are. 🤍

Whenever and wherever we can, we choose to work with local businesses, suppliers, and products. From the ingredients on our grazing tables and finishing touches, through to our local venues, we believe in investing back into our community.

Yes, it can sometimes mean our grazing tables and boxes cost a little more, but behind every local purchase is a real person, a family, a dream, and another small business doing their best to grow and thrive.

In smaller communities especially, supporting local matters. Small businesses are the heart of our towns, and when we work together and support one another, everybody benefits.
