In memory of our beloved Bob, or "Uncle Bob" as he was to Harry & Becky 🫶

We can't believe it was 3 years on Saturday since his sudden passing, which left a huge hole not only in the family and brewery, but the wider community too 💔

With Larkins Brewery approaching its 40th Anniversary year, we are pleased to say that Bob's life work is going from strength to strength, with many favourable comments and reviews being received regarding the quality and consistency of the range of beers produced here at Larkins.

Check out picture no 5, as you can see he still keeps an eye on us in the office 😊

We are overjoyed to have been nominated to the Shortlist for the Rural Oscars 2025!!!

This is a fantastic recognition of all that we do to produce the finest cask ales and support our local community in as many ways as possible and to receive this nomination now, after such a difficult time in our history, is just wonderful!! It has been a huge lift for all of us here at the Brewery 💚

Harry and Becky would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the incredible support we have received from our local community. Larkins has always been at the heart of this community, and it is wonderful that this longstanding relationship continues with the 3rd generation of the Dockerty family.

We are extremely delighted to announce that Larkins Brewery has been shortlisted to win a Countryside Alliance Award in the Food & Drink category!!!!! 🏆

We are so honoured to have made it to the shortlist as it means a lot of people must have nominated us!! 🙏 We are so grateful and send our heartfelt thanks to you all! 💚

The Awards are the Countryside Alliance’s annual celebration of British food & farming, enterprise and heritage of our small hard-working businesses. The Awards are now in their 18th year and have become the definitive rural business award to win.

They are set apart from other award schemes because they are driven by public nomination, offering customers the chance to tell us why their favourite businesses are worthy of national acclaim.

The Awards received thousands of nominations this year so we have done extremely well to be a finalist! A huge thank you to everyone who nominated us 🙏

Countryside Alliance Awards Director Sarah Lee commented: “We have been overwhelmed by nominations this year. The secret to the Rural Oscars’ popularity is that they honour the people involved in these businesses and not just their produce or services. They exist to sing the praises of those who work hard to keep our communities and rural economy ticking, but don’t seek the spotlight. These awards provide a cause for celebration in a time of great uncertainty in the countryside. Our local produce is second to none and there are many community heroes and businesses worthy of national recognition.” 💚

Winners will be chosen via a public vote which opens in March, and the winners will be announced in April. The winners will then go on and represent their region in the final at the House of Lords in the national champions reception in June! 🤯🤯
