Back during May Half Term, the Maypole Project enjoyed another wonderful visit to Rainbow Pony Rides – a much-loved activity that our children and families look forward to year after year 🐴
We want to highlight and say a huge thank you to the fantastic Sophie, who welcomes us so warmly to Rainbow Pony Rides every time we visit. Her dedication and kindness help create a safe, inclusive, and memorable experience for everyone involved.
At the stables, children have the opportunity to groom and pet the ponies, enjoy rides around the beautiful Kentish farm, and even try simple riding exercises in the outdoor sand school. Whether experienced riders or sitting on a pony for the very first time, every child is supported by experienced volunteers and encouraged to build confidence at their own pace.
Outings like these give children and young people the opportunity to have fun, step away from everyday challenges, and create lasting memories with others who understand their journey.
