Hello.
27 days until we close the doors of 186 Portobello High Street.
For the next 27 days, we’ll be open Thursday to Sunday, giving you 16 final days to visit the little shop that has been our home for more than five years.
It feels very strange to say goodbye to the place where everything started. From two people hoping someone would buy a box of pasta to a business that has completely changed our lives, 186 has given us more than we ever could have imagined.
But now, something new is beginning.
A few doors down, our new shop is already taking shape. The builders have started, walls are coming down, and we’re finally beginning to see the future of Æmilia.
We honestly can’t recommend Splinter enough. They’ve been brilliant from day one, and watching them bring this vision to life is incredibly exciting.
For now, come and say goodbye to 186. Pick up some fresh pasta, focaccia, tiramisù, drinks, or a bit of merch to remember the little shop that started it all.
And, because so many of you asked…
The car is back! Fully fixed and refurbished, and finally back on the road.
Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and making 186 such a special place.
