We're excited to announce that Elizabeth Yard 'Sherry Cask Edition' is now an IWSC Silver Medal Winner with 90 points! Our "Sherry Cask Edition” brings together rums from Ghana, Vietnam and the Philippines and is refined in sherry casks at our warehouse at Royal Elizabeth Yard. We wanted to say something different with this spirit, creating a delicious blended rum without any additives - no added colour, no added sugar and no added flavour.

A fantastic result and massive achievement for Team HD. Onwards and upwards from here! You can get your hands on a bottle of this award-winning rum at the distillery shop or on our website! 😊

That perfect mid-week boost courtesy of a Rum Espresso Martini 🍸 ☕️

50ml EY Sherry Edition
25ml Coffee Liqueur
30ml Coffee (espresso)
5ml Sugar Syrup (optional)
2 drops Saline

Shake over ice and fine strain, garnish with cinnamon powder and coffee beans.

The story of Elizabeth Yard Rum begins with our maturation warehouses at Royal Elizabeth Yard on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The Yard was once home to the old Royal Naval Rum Bonds which supplied the Royal Naval fleet who had bases on the Firth of Forth at nearby South Queensferry and Rosyth

Kick the weekend off early with a twist on this old favourite - Elizabeth Yard Sherry Cask Edition Rum Old Fashioned 🥃

60ml Elizabeth Yard Sherry
12.5ml maple syrup
2 dash orange bitters
1 dash angostura

Stir with ice and strain into an Old Fashioned glass over a singular large block of ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
