The journey of Mitakawani Moringa begins long before the jar. 🌿
In a small village in Zanzibar, moringa trees grow quietly beside family gardens. Not as trends, but as tradition.
Every morning, a group of women rise early to harvest the leaves by hand. They know exactly when to pick them. When the green is just right. When the plant is at its strongest.
The leaves are then dried under the sun. Not in machines, but on woven mats, turned gently, watched closely.
Later, they are ground into a fine powder that holds onto its deep green colour and earthy, almost sweet scent.
This process is slow. Deliberately so.
Because rushing loses something. And these women know what is worth keeping.
When you open a jar of our Mitakawani Moringa, you are holding all of that: the time, the care, the craft, and the knowledge passed down through generations.
It is more than a superfood. It is a way of life.
