✨ What an inspiring evening at the Saroj Lal Awards 2026. 💛

Last night, we were proud to support an event dedicated to recognising the creativity, achievements, and voices of young people and educators from across Edinburgh. 🎨🏆

Held at the The Hub, home of the Edinburgh International Festival, the awards celebrate the legacy of Saroj Lal and shine a light on the incredible work taking place in schools to promote equality, inclusion, and diversity.

It was fantastic to hear from Martin Hutchinson, Wider Achievement Manager at The City of Edinburgh Council, about the impact these awards have on pupils, teachers, and families, and why recognising these achievements is so important.

A huge congratulations to all of the winners, finalists, and everyone involved in making the evening such a success. The talent, passion, and creativity on display were truly inspiring. 👏✨

The hospitality industry is facing increasing pressure, from rising costs and reduced consumer spending to ongoing challenges around recruitment and investment.

That's why we're supporting the call for a reduction in VAT for hospitality businesses from 20% to 10%.

May has been another fantastic month across Saltire Hospitality ✨

From the excitement of Melrose Sevens 🏉 to the glamour and atmosphere of Ladies Day at Perth Racecourse 🏇, our teams have been busy delivering memorable experiences across some of Scotland’s biggest events.

We’re also delighted to have been shortlisted for Best Innovation in Business at the Midlothian & East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 🏆, recognising the creativity and dedication shown across our business and Saltire Patisserie.

Wedding season is now well underway 💍, with our team hosting tastings, finalising details, and preparing for another incredible year of celebrations across Scotland.

Meanwhile, our patisserie has welcomed the return of the popular Saltire Buns 🏴 and we’re excited to be preparing for a fresh new chapter at Lunch To You 🥗.

Looking ahead, we can’t wait to return to Knockhill Racing Circuit 🏁, welcome guests to Perth Racecourse Gold Cup Day 🏆, and continue delivering exceptional hospitality throughout the summer.

🏉 A little look back at an incredible weekend at the Melrose Sevens…

A week or so may have passed, but we're still reflecting on what a fantastic event it was. From the electric atmosphere and world-class rugby to the thousands of supporters who packed into The Greenyards, Melrose Sevens once again delivered a weekend to remember. ✨

Our team was proud to play a part behind the scenes, delivering hospitality across the event and keeping over 600 players and 150 volunteers fuelled throughout the tournament. 🍽️💪

As always, it was a huge team effort, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success.

And of course, a special mention to Eden Coffee House, which was kept busy throughout the weekend welcoming visitors, players, and supporters alike. ☕💛
