As we count down to this year’s Scottish Beer Awards, we’re looking back at one of the biggest moments from last year’s ceremony — when 71 Brewing was crowned Scottish Brewery of the Year 🍺

We’re excited to welcome Alix Blease, Technical Sales Representative at Lallemand Brewing, to this year’s conference speaker programme.

We’re now inviting applications for Tasting Judges for the Scottish Beer Awards 🍺

We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced professionals to help us assess this year’s entries from across Scotland’s brewing sector.

To apply, you should have relevant industry qualifications and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in at least TWO of the following:

* Working in the production of beer or spirits in a brewery or distillery
* Professional high-end mixology with recognised certifications (WSET or similar)
* Brand ambassador roles with formal sensory/tasting qualifications
* Academic expertise in brewing or distilling

Our judging process is rigorous, independent, and highly respected across the industry.
