From the Barrel We are a small, independent retailer of Japanese Whisky. We sell flavourful, delicious, often hard to find, Japanese Whiskies in a range of styles.

We are a small company of three people based in Edinburgh where we manage our business, entertain our visitors and lets be honest, drink a lot of whisky. Our Tokyo and Edinburgh roots are vital to who we are as a company. r base in Tokyo connects us with Japan's capital, a city known historically as fast moving and trendy which we believe is reflected in our approach to whisky in general.
