Dailuaine 1997 from Signatory Vintage was distilled in 1997 and bottled at 20 years of age. It is bottled at 46% ABV and cost only £70! Will it be any good though?

A that won't be replaced, but it was a decent enough dram considering it was under £30.

I really need to get back into peat again, so I'm looking forward to the colder weather.

Not all the drams I had the Whisky Fringe Festival but here are some of my favourites:

- Kilkerran Cask Sample
- Kilkerran Heavily Peated Fresh Sherry
- Dafmtill 21 Year Old
- Dornoch 4 Year Old Cask Sample
- Fragrant Drops Fife Whisky

I believe the KK HP is the next release, or coming out soon, so I'll be needing a bottle of that. Also, I'll be aiming to get x2 of the Daftmills. Is it greedy, yes? 😅 But I need one to drink and one for rainy. The Fragrant Drops is worth a punt if you want something quite unique.

First time at the festival, definitely a great setup.

Glenmorangie 12 is a 35cl bottle that has been matured in Normandy Calvados casks which had held the Calvados for 20 years. This whisky is released under the Whisky 52 umbrella from the Beer 32 subscription company. Quite a unique bottle that definitely intrigued me when I received it as a birthday gift.

Any festival I find Francis Cuthbert at I try and get a picture and a blether. Admittedly, at the Fringe Festival I was a little intoxicated 😅 Hopefully I didn't annoy anyone I bumped into.

With that apology out the way 😅 It's always a pleasure chatting with Francis and Hazel, and it's not always about whisky, believe it or not. This time we were chatting about Clarkson's Farm, so I'm hoping for a Cuthbert's Farm series in the future 🤞

Seven Sons 18 blended scotch is an independently bottled whisky from the folks at 8 Doors Distillery. It cost £64 for a bottle and it is bottled at 44.5% ABV, which appears to be a reasonable price for those credentials.

Bunnahabhain 12 year old is a distillery bottling that is sold at 46.3% ABV with a price tag of anywhere from £40 to £55. It is somewhat of a staple whisky for many, so I thought it was about time that I sat down with a dram and reviewed it.

Originally, this whisky was part of our split but I felt that 100ml was just not enough, so when Rare Find reached out to me letting me know they had a bottle for sale, I just had to jump on the opportunity.

I spotted this in the Pot Still some time ago and never posted it.

It got me thinking; someone has either had a really great time, or the complete opposite 😅

Now, I'm thinking about all the glasses I've lost over the years, and ones I "miss". I've lost plenty, but two come to mind, a Fife Whisky festival glass, and a Thompson Bros glass. I'm hoping to replace the Thompson Bros glass next week when I pass by Dornoch, hopefully the shop will be open.
