Passionate about the world of alcohol, we have a selection of pretty much every type of liquor available. We are keen to get any new products in if you have suggestions and we do lots and lots of in store tastings. We have wine from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, France, Spain, America, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany, Austria and anywhere else that grows grapes! As well a

s this, we have sherry, port, marsala, sake, Champagne and sparkling wine. We have beers ranging from IPA's, Black IPA's, Stouts, Whisky Cask aged beers, fruit infused scottish ales, Kolsch, German smoked beer, ginger beer, strawberry beer, cherry beer, wheat beer, coffee beer, chocolate beer, orange wheatbeer and anything else with barley, hops and yeast in it. We have over 100 rums from Molasses Golden Rum, through to Dark Spiced Rum, Coconut Rum, Rum Agricole. Rum from Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Columbia, Mexico, Austalia, Guyana and many more exotic places. We have a huge selection of Scotch, Bourbon, American Whiskey, Irish Whiskey, Japanese Whisky, Liqueurs and Blends. Vodka, Gin (lots of gin), tequila, mezcal, liqueurs and pretty much anything else you can think of. We'll even let you pick the music and pat the shop dog!

Nicole from Chimera is joining us in store this Friday, 24th July, pouring a few Luxardo serves and happy to talk you through them.

A staff favourite, and a recipe you'll come back to all summer long ☀️

When we asked the team for their warm-weather drink of choice, the answer was a Hugo Spritz - our version uses Edinburgh Gin Elderflower Liqueur for a local twist on the classic and is so simple to make at home! 🍸

Fill a large glass with ice, add a good measure of Edinburgh Gin Elderflower Liqueur, top with prosecco and a splash of soda, then finish with plenty of fresh mint 🌿 That's all there is to it.
Light, floral and wonderfully refreshing, it's exactly the thing to have in hand on a sunny afternoon 🥂

The Schöfferhofer Watermelon Mint is a German wheat beer with a brilliantly refreshing watermelon and mint twist. It's light, fruity and so easy to drink, the kind of thing you'll happily reach for in the garden or take along to a barbecue 🍉

We've always believed in championing the brilliant producers on our own doorstep- and Ninefold are a perfect example.🤝

A small Scottish distillery doing genuinely interesting things, their Dormant Spiced is one we keep coming back to: warm baking spice, a little orchard fruit and a smooth, rounded finish, lovely over ice, or as the backbone of a really good cocktail.
Supporting independent Scottish producers like this is a big part of what we're about here at Drinkmonger.
